For their 25th anniversary Samurai releases the Benikei 17oz black denim. Using the Zero Bushido Denim, this denim was constructed from scratch for its unique slubbiness that gains even more character over time. The fabric is created using thick yarns from carefully selected cotton, woven on low tension to create an uneven, slubby feel. The warp yarns are then sulfer-dyed while the weft yarns remain undyed.
The Bushido denim has been out of production for over six years due to the difficulty finding looms that were able to weave to Samurai's specifications, but is now back in limited quantity.
