The Lot 44 cut from Mister Freedom is a perfect distillation of what they do best: durable and flattering clothing that references mid-century fashion while bringing a bold flair of their own. This jean comes in a roomy classic straight cut, with a higher rise. While the Lot 44 usually sports a cinch back, it’s been left off for this more streamlined edition. An overlock stitch runs along the leg’s outseam. As usual, and in true old-school fashion, this jean is an unsanforized, shrink-to-fit situation.
For this iteration of the Lot 44, Mister Freedom uses high-quality made-in-the USA non-selvedge denim. Not all selvedge is created equal, and not all wide-loom denim is either. This fabric is NOS (new old stock) from Georgia's Mount Vernon Mills and features an attractive old school indigo warp color.
